About:
Malek AlZidaneen is a geoscientist and Ph.D. candidate in Geology at the University of Jordan, specializing in structural geology, tectono-stratigraphic evolution, and mineral resource exploration. He is a Senior Geophysicist at the National Petroleum Company (NPC), with a focus on 2D/3D seismic interpretation, field QC, and integrated subsurface modelling for hydrocarbon and mineral exploration. He previously supported the Risha Phosphate Project on ARMICO, supervising drilling operations, conducting lithological/structural logging, and implementing procedures for geochemical datasets. He holds B.Sc. (2012) and M.Sc. (2020) degrees from the University of Jordan; his M.Sc. thesis examined the structural evolution of central Jordan using integrated reflection seismic and remote sensing methods.​
