Since March 2023, I have been working at the Coordination Office of the DFG-Structural Priority Program ICDP at Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel. From November 2019 to October 2024, I have been pursuing my doctoral studies at the same university in the field of Marine Geophysics and Hydroacoustics. My dissertation focuses on the seismic investigation of submarine permafrost and permafrost-associated gas hydrates in the southern Canadian Beaufort Sea.
Between 2015 and 2018, I completed my Master of Science in Geophysics at the University of Hamburg, Germany. My master’s thesis was titled “Seismic-stratigraphic framework of the Skagerrak in the Norwegian-Danish North Sea.” Before that, from 2011 to 2015, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Geophysics from the University of Hamburg, where my thesis focused on “Seismic studies of glacial erosion in the south-western Baltic Sea.”
