​Dr. Abdelrahim Alsoussi is the Head of the Logistics Department and an Assistant Professor of Logistics and Operations Management at the German Jordanian University. He holds a Ph.D. in Logistics and Operations Management from the University of Duisburg-Essen, along with an MBA and a BA from the Hashemite University. With over a decade of academic and administrative experience, he has been instrumental in developing GJU’s logistics programs, including launching the first dual study track and a Master’s in Logistics Management. His research focuses on logistics, supply chain management, humanitarian operations, and emerging technologies, with publications in international journals and conferences. A Certified Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution (CLTD) instructor under ASCM, Dr. Alsoussi actively bridges academia and industry through partnerships, research projects, and professional training initiatives.​​
