About:
Osama joined the GEI lab in Fall 2025 and earned the ORCGS Doctoral fellowship to support his PhD study at UCF. He holds Bachelor's and master's degrees in Earth and Environmental Sciences from Yarmouk University, Jordan. During his Master's, he contributed to multiple research projects, including geological and geochemical analyses of basin formation processes and GeoAI applications for land cover/use mapping. By working in Jordan and Saudi Arabia as a Geophysicist for an engineering firm, Osama has gained extensive experience in geophysical techniques such as Microgravity, MASW, ERT, SRT, GPR, and Downhole. At the GEI Lab, his research focuses on sinkhole hazard detection and modeling.
