Two Student Game Projects from the University of Jordan Reach Final Stage at the 12th National Technology Parade

​We are proud to announce that two student teams from the University of Jordan have reached the final stage under the Game Development category at the 12th National Technology Parade, hosted by Al-Hussein Technical University.

Selected from over 400 submissions from universities across Jordan, both projects represent an exceptional blend of creativity, technical excellence, and innovation—particularly in their integration of Generative AI (GenAI) to enhance gameplay experience.


🎮 UJ 3030 – A Sci-Fi Shooter Adventure with AI-Driven Gameplay

Developed using the Unity engine, UJ 3030 is a third-person sci-fi shooter where players control a humanoid robot sent by the University of Jordan to uncover the fate of a lost research expedition on an alien planet. The game features immersive storytelling, modular combat systems, and AI-driven enemy behavior.

Notably, UJ 3030 integrates GenAI to generate dynamic in-game dialogues and adaptive NPC responses, enriching the narrative depth and player interaction.

⚔️ Aetherion Blade – A High-Fantasy Action RPG with AI-Enhanced Interaction

Aetherion Blade is a single-player RPG developed using Unreal Engine 5, following the warrior Kael as he battles to save the continent of Aetherion from the dark lord Drakmor. The game features cinematic storytelling, tactical combat, and exploration within a richly detailed world.

The team utilized GenAI to create dynamic quest dialogue and character interaction, allowing for more personalized player choices and non-linear narrative paths.
