​* Director of the University of Jordan Insects Museum from 1992 till present. The activities during the past years included the following:

  • Weekly field trips for collecting insects form many localities in Jordan for the purpose of teaching and research.
  • Sorting and identifying the collected insect specimens and sending unidentified specimens for identification by specialists in the international museums.
  • Preservation of voucher specimens for insects on which graduate research was conducted in the Department of Horticulture & Plant Protection.
  • Contributing to the establishment of entomological collections in the University of Mu'tah, University of Jarash, and as Salt Community College.
  • Participating in the scientific exhibitions in the private and government schools by lending boxes of pinned insects.
  • Rearing insects and preparing their life cycles for teaching entomology courses in the department.
  • Presenting short lectures for the museum visitors and answering their questions.
  • Identification of insect pests for farmers, agricultural engineers, general public and graduate students.
  • Exchange of insect specimens with international museums.
  • The incorporation of the students' insect's collection into the museum.
  • Training of agricultural engineers and lab technicians for the collecting, pinning and preservation of insects.
  • Accumulation of taxonomic literature about the insects of Jordan to be a basis for a specialized library associated with the museum.
  • Participating in the Italian entomological expedition to Dhana Nature Reserve. 1995.
