​Dr. Barakat research is focused on Clinical/tobacco studies and immune cell stimulation using novel technologies such as atmospheric non-thermal plasma which has a great implication in the treatment of chronic wound infections. Such research is conducted in contribution with QUB and ASU. As well as, she is interested in the clinical pharmacy practice in the cardiology line and how could be reflected on the Jordanian community.​
