Jordan remains a country with a high prevalence of dental caries in childhood. We proudly take part in providing free dental care to thousands of children every year via Jordan University Hospital (JUH), the country’s first and largest teaching hospital. We serve as both a leading dental care provider and a center for dental education and research. JUH’s Paediatric Dentistry department is a vital contributor to both the health of the community and the advancement of dental sciences in Jordan.
In addition, we regularly take part in oral health promotion campaigns, particularly those targeting schools and nurseries. Our aim is to promote evidence-based oral hygiene practices, dietary habits, and attendance patterns in this vulnerable cohort of our society. Several researchers from our group lend their expertise National-Level committees concerned with oral health including Jordan's Dental Assocaition, Medical Council, and Ministries of Health and Education.
