​.Professor Hawazen Sonbol is a Professor of Paediatric Dentistry at the University of Jordan. She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Jordan, followed by a Master of Clinical Dentistry (MclinDent) in Paediatric Dentistry and a PhD from University College London. Her research interests focus on the prevention and management of dental diseases in children, behavioural management techniques, and improving oral health outcomes in paediatric populations. Professor Sonbol is committed to advancing education and research in paediatric dentistry and mentoring the next generation of dental professionals.​
