​We are excited to share the publication of our study, "Prevalence of Undiagnosed Hypertension and Its Associated Factors among Psychiatric Patients: A Cross-Sectional Study at a Tertiary Healthcare Center," in the prestigious Q1 journal, Heliyon. Our findings highlight a significantly high prevalence of undiagnosed hypertension (30.8%) among individuals with psychiatric disorders. We identified several factors that were strongly linked to an increased risk of hypertension, including male sex, older age, higher BMI, a family history of cardiovascular diseases, and the use of SNRIs.
