Hussein H. Alhawari, MD, FASN is a Professor of Medicine and a Consultant Nephrologist at the University of Jordan. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), with a fellowship from the American Society of Nephrology (FASN). He completed his medical training and nephrology fellowship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and has held multiple clinical leadership roles in the U.S. and Jordan. He is also a widely published researcher, with numerous studies on hypertension and chronic kidney disease.
