Our research group has received prestigious awards, reflecting its commitment to advancing healthcare and health economics through research, mentorship, and global collaboration. Key awards and fellowships include:

1.     DIES ProGRANT Proposal Writing for Research Grants( part of the DIES Dialogue on Innovative Higher Education Strategies program of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the German Rectors' Conference (HRK).

The grant was Awarded to Prof Eman A Hammad and Dr Rimal Mousa, this program trained emerging researchers to develop competitive proposals for national and international research funding, emphasizing impactful and innovative research. ProGRANT is an effective tool for enhancing academic capacity building in the global south and for promoting international research

2.     Fulbright Post-Doc Visiting Scholar Award

    • Granted in 2018/2019 for Prof Eman A Hammad, this award supported a postdoctoral tenure at the Carle College of Medicine, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, fostering international collaboration and advancing expertise in health economics and clinical practice.

3.     The Daniel Turnberg Travel Fellowships

    1. Awarded in 2014 by the Academy of Medical Sciences for Prof Eman A Hammad to visit he Manchester Centre for Health Economics, UK. This fellowship facilitated international research exchange, focusing on developing solutions to global health and economic challenges and to build research links and develop ideas for longer-term collaborations between the UK and the Middle East.

These recognitions underscore the group's dedication to high-quality research and its significant contributions to the fields of healthcare and health economics.
