​Mahmoud AbuAwad, a graduate student and member of the research group, delivered a brief presentation entitled “Financial Reforms Towards Universal Health Coverage in Jordan,” outlining Jordan’s reform roadmap toward achieving sustainable financing for Universal Health Coverage (UHC). The presentation highlighted key policy directions aimed at strengthening financial protection, improving efficiency, and ensuring equitable access to essential health services.

The program addressed critical themes in health financing, including health insurance expansion, domestic resource mobilization, strategic purchasing, pharmaceutical financing, and the political economy of reform. The event brought together representatives from Ministries of Health and senior policymakers from across the Arab region, fostering dialogue on evidence-based strategies to advance resilient and sustainable health systems.​
