National Engagement in Workforce Development

Prof. Eman A. Hammad, Professor of Health Economics and Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Jordan, participated as a member of the national committee for supply–demand workforce analysis in the pharmaceutical industry.

The committee, hosted at the National Center for Human Resources Development (NCHRD), brings together academic experts, government representatives, and industry stakeholders to assess current and future workforce needs in the pharmaceutical sector.

This initiative is directly linked to Jordan’s Economic Modernization Vision 2033, aiming to:
1. Identify workforce gaps and future skills required.
2. Align higher education outputs with labor market demands.
3. Support sustainable growth of Jordan’s pharmaceutical sector, a national economic priority.

Prof. Hammad’s contribution reflects her ongoing commitment to health systems strengthening, workforce planning, and evidence-based policy development in Jordan and the region.
