Dr. Rimal is currently a member of the committee tasked with preparing the unified guideline for Health Technology Assessment (HTA). The committee aims to develop standardized criteria for evaluating and examining health technologies in terms of their effectiveness, safety, cost, quality of life, equity, and social impact. This includes drugs, medical devices, healthcare procedures, and health programs.

These standards support decision-makers in selecting the most effective and efficient health technologies based on a comprehensive and unified evaluation at the national level. The committee comprises a group of experts in health economics and representatives from governmental entities such as the Ministry of Health, the Royal Medical Services, the Jordan Food and Drug Administration, and the King Hussein Cancer Center, ensuring the methodology's inclusivity and precision.
