About:

Dr. Eman A. Hammad is a Professor of Health Economics and Clinical Pharmacy with a joint appointment at the Institute of Public Health, JU.  Her research focus on evidence based clinical practice and decision making. Area of interest related to diabetics clinical and economic outcomes, medicine reconciliation, practice evaluation and enhancement using simulated patient’s technique and social behavior change strategies. Dr. Hammad has led impactful studies on pharmacist-led interventions, medication safety, and the economic analysis of healthcare services. She is a Fulbright Post-Doctoral Scholar (University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, 2018-2019) and recipient of the Daniel Turnberg Travel Fellowship. She has contributed to several national and international consultancy projects, including collaborations with the WHO, World Bank, and USAID. Dr. Hammad is also actively involved in policy development and evaluation, particularly in local clinical practice guidelines development and universal health coverage initiatives.​​
