Emad Almomani holds an MSc degree in health economics, policy and financing since 2019. Emad Almomani is the leader of Health Technology Assessment and Financing for the Department of Health Technology Assessment at Jordan Royal Medical Services. The remit of the HTA's department is to provide HTA recommendations to the decision-makers about newly registered technologies, especially with high budget impact through conducting economic modelling and critical appraisal of submitted dossiers. He is the leader of the capacity-building program at Royal Medical Services in the field of HTA and health policy. Additionally, I am working as a health economist at the Jordan Center for Disease Control (JCDC). Emad Almomani is currently an active member of national and health-related committees, including the National steering HTA Committee for institutionalization and implementation of health technology assessment in Jordan, the national steering committee for economic evaluations of diagnostic, metabolic and rare diseases, the National steering committee for national health accounts, and the national steering committee for health financing strategy in Jordan. Emad Almomani has worked as an Expert in Health Technology Assessment, Health Policy and Financing for the Department of health economics and financing at the High health Council from 21 June 2020 to 5 July 2022. He served as a Consultant and Health Policy Advisor to the National HTA Committee, National Health Accounts team, Health Financing Strategies towards Universal Health Coverage and financial health risk protection. He has diversified experiences as a Teaching Assistant for nine years at Royal Medical College for Allied Health Professions, and he has had the opportunity to work as a Medical Officer for one year at the Embassy of Jordan- Department of The Military, Naval and Air Attaché Office / London. He has contributed as an expert and speaker in a multi-national program in the field of HTA. He is interested in Health Technology Assessment (HTA), economic modelling, policy and financing and patient-reported outcomes.
