The University of Kirkuk has announced the appointment of Professor Dr. Dalal Zregat as a member of the editorial board of its Journal for Human Studies. This selection reflects her academic excellence and contributions to the field of humanities and social sciences.

Dr. Safa'a Alwedyan has been selected to be an editorial board member of "The Arab World Geographer" journal.
2014–2020: Robert B. Daugherty Water for Food Institute Faculty Fellow—Recognized for sustained contributions to water and food security research.
2015: Member, WMO Commission on Agricultural Meteorology Expert Team on Drought—appointed by the World Meteorological Organization for expertise in drought and agricultural climatology.
2013: Irv Omtvedt Innovation Award—Awarded for exceptional service at the University of Nebraska and the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources during the 2012 drought.
