On Sunday, 1/2/2026, Dr. Dalal Ali Zregat from the Department of Geography – Faculty of Arts conducted a scientific visit to the Egyptian Geographical Society in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

This visit aimed to strengthen scientific cooperation and exchange academic expertise among Arab geographical institutions, as well as to explore the research and scientific activities carried out by the Society. It also included learning about its valuable scientific collections, including rare maps, historical atlases, and specialized references in various branches of geography.

The visit featured a tour of the Society’s library and its different departments, in addition to reviewing its distinguished geographical archives. Discussions were also held regarding prospects for future collaboration in scientific research and participation in specialized conferences and academic events.

This visit highlights the importance of academic openness and the strengthening of Arab scientific partnerships, contributing to the advancement of geographical research and the promotion of knowledge and scholarship.​​
