About:

 Research Center (NARC). She holds a PhD in irrigation management and in the treatment and reuse of wastewater using surface and sub-surface wetlands (University of Jordan).

Her research focuses on modern irrigation systems, on-farm water-use efficiency and productivity, treated wastewater reuse, and water and wastewater treatment. Since 1998, she has participated in numerous projects related to advanced agricultural technologies in dry-land areas, particularly with a focus on water-saving components.

Funded Projects:

  • Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA): Projects on water-saving technologies in drylands.

  • Middle East Regional Cooperation (MERC-USAID): Regional projects on irrigation and water management.

  • IHE Delft “Valley Water” Project.

  • EU-funded Projects: Leading or participating in GOTHAM, PROSIM, WISPER, LENSES, and FRONTAG.

In these projects, Dr. Al-Hadidi works on improving both the quantity and quality of irrigation water delivered to farmers, while assessing the impacts of various irrigation technologies on water saving.
