The University of Jordan (UJ) proudly announces the participation of its Water, Energy and Environment Center (WEEC) in the regional summer school titled “Sustainable Tourism as a Driver of Employment Protection in Geoparks.” The program was held across Madrid, Palencia, and Lugo in Spain from August 23 to September 5, 2025.

The event was jointly organized by the Geological and Mining Institute of Spain (IGME-CSIC) and the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), in partnership with two UNESCO Global Geoparks in Spain: Las Loras and Montañas do Courel.
