​Dr. Khitam Alzughoul's research focuses on economic geology, mineral and industrial resources, petrology, exploration, data analysis, environmental geology, and educational development. Her work explores mineralization processes, with in-depth studies of skarn systems and barite deposits. She has made significant contributions to the understanding of Jordanian mineral resources, including kaolinite, natural zeolites, and phosphate deposits. Her interdisciplinary approach bridges theoretical and practical geology, integrating advanced data analysis and geochemistry to address challenges in resource characterization, ore formation, petrogenesis, and environmental concerns. Additionally, She is committed to education and mentorship, actively engaging in international collaborations and training programs.
