Hani Y Ayyoub is a Jordanian academic and digital transformation leader specializing in e-learning systems, AI-driven personalized learning, and educational technology integration. He currently serves as Director of the Development and E-Learning Platforms Management Office at the University of Jordan, where he leads strategic planning and large-scale integration projects that connect the university’s LMS with platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Turnitin, Active Directory, library systems, and AI-powered learning tools. He is also a Part-time Lecturer across multiple departments, focusing on the effective pedagogical use of technology and data-driven improvement of learning experiences.

With over a decade of experience in e-learning and more than twelve years in IT, Dr. Ayyoub has played a pivotal role in redesigning institutional LMS environments, managing secure online examinations, and implementing accessibility solutions for inclusive education. His technical leadership spans blended learning, system interoperability, learning analytics, and the deployment of emerging technologies—including AI chatbots and adaptive learning models—to enhance student engagement and academic integrity.

Academically, he holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems from the University of Jordan. His master’s research, Learning Style Identification Using Data Mining and Machine Intelligence, laid the foundation for his ongoing scholarly work in AI-based learning style detection and adaptive e-learning systems. He has authored and co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in reputable international journals (e.g., IEEE Transactions on Learning Technologies, PLOS ONE, Heliyon), addressing topics such as learning analytics, ethical behavior in e-learning, technology acceptance, and the contribution of digital education to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Beyond research and administration, Ayyoub is an experienced trainer and consultant, having delivered extensive professional development programs for university faculty on Moodle, online assessment, H5P interactive content, and blended learning design.
