Dr. Nadia Bounoua is an Algerian chemist specializing in analytical chemistry, with a strong focus on chiral compound separation and capillary electrophoresis. She holds a Doctorate in Chemistry and currently serves as an Associate Professor at the École Normale Supérieure (ENS) in Béchar, Algeria.
 
Her research spans several important areas, including phytochemicals, antioxidant activity, natural product chemistry, chromatography, and extraction methods. Dr. Bounoua has contributed to innovative analytical methodologies, particularly through the application of nanoparticles in chiral analysis and the development of nanomaterial-supported molecularly imprinted polymers for detecting pharmaceutical compounds.
She is also active in educational roles, devoted to teaching and mentoring students in the field of chemical sciences at ENS Béchar and fostering the next generation of researchers in Algeria.​
