Dr. Safwan Fraihat is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Jordan. His research focuses on developing eco-friendly and precise analytical methods for analyzing food, pharmaceutical, and environmental samples. These methods are often based on spectrophotometry, chromatography, and electroanalytical techniques.
Dr. Fraihat has contributed significantly to green analytical chemistry, including pioneering methods for the determination of various compounds such as nitrites, pharmaceuticals, and heavy metals. His work emphasizes sustainability and simplicity in analytical practices, as evidenced by his numerous publications in international journals.
He is also actively involved in research groups such as "Green Approach Toward a Sustainable Environment" at the University of Jordan, and his academic efforts extend to both teaching and supervising research projects in his field
