Dr. Huthaifa Attallah, an active member of the Rehabilitation Outcome Measures (ROM) Research Group, visited La Nostra Famiglia, the largest rehabilitation center in Italy, as part of an official University of Jordan delegation.
This visit was conducted within the framework of an Italian-funded tender awarded to the University of Jordan. The project aims to support the Physiotherapy and Orthotics & Prosthetics Departments by equipping them with state-of-the-art rehabilitation technologies and assessment tools.
Dr. Attallah's visit focused specifically on evaluating the Gait and Motion Analysis Laboratory. During his time at La Nostra Famiglia, he explored cutting-edge technologies in gait analysis, virtual reality applications in rehabilitation, and advanced biomechanical assessment systems.
This visit aligns directly with the mission of the ROM Research Group, which emphasizes staying at the forefront of outcome measurement in rehabilitation. Insights gained from this visit will inform future decisions at the School of Rehabilitation Sciences, ensuring that faculty and students remain engaged with the most up-to-date tools and methodologies in the field—particularly in gait assessment and mobility outcomes.
