Dr. Huthaifa Atallah is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics at the University of Jordan, where he has been contributing since October 2022. He holds a Ph.D. in Biomechanics from the University of Salford, UK, with a focus on prosthetics and orthotics, particularly lower-limb prostheses.
With nearly 20 years of experience in academic and clinical settings across Jordan and Saudi Arabia, Dr. Atallah has led prosthetic and orthotic clinics and educational programs. His research interests include advanced prosthetic and orthotic designs, rehabilitation outcome measures, and 3D-printing applications. He has published in leading international journals alongside international coauthors and serves as an active peer reviewer.
At the University of Jordan, Dr. Atallah is committed to advancing P&O education and conducting impactful research. In addition to teaching, he collaborates on research projects with national and international colleagues.Research Interests: 3D printing in prosthetics and orthotics, Residuuam volume fluctuations, Prosthetic users' satisfaction and thier quality of life, prosthetic suspension systems, and prosthetic socket designs.
