Research interest:
Dr. Aldughmi's research has been primarily focused on neurological rehabilitation, with particular attention given to non-motor symptoms such as sleep quality, fatigue, and cognitive function in individuals with conditions like Parkinson's disease and multiple sclerosis. Special interest has been placed on exploring the role of exercise therapy in managing these symptoms and improving overall quality of life. Sleep health promotion has been emphasized as a central objective throughout her work. A major focus of her research has also been the translation and validation of standardized outcome measures, aiming to enhance assessment and support evidence-based decision-making in physiotherapy practice.
