Dr. Dua’a Alwawi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at the School of Rehabilitation Sciences, University of Jordan. Her research focuses on the impact of neurological disorders on daily life performance, with a particular emphasis on stroke survivors. Additionally, she is dedicated to the translation and cross-cultural adaptation of rehabilitation outcome measures, ensuring their validity and applicability across diverse populations.
Alwawi Research focuses on promoting occupational performance in individuals with neurological disorders, particularly those who have experienced a stroke. She is also interested in the validation of rehabilitation outcome measures, the cross-cultural adaptation of these measures for Arabic-speaking populations and investigating sensory processing patterns and sensory changes following neurological impairment.
