This cross-sectional study assessed user satisfaction with cosmetic silicone prostheses among 54 individuals with partial-hand amputations using the Arabic version of the Client Satisfaction with Device (CSD-Ar) questionnaire. While nearly half of the participants reported daily use of the prosthesis and expressed satisfaction with durability and ease of donning, many were dissatisfied with comfort. The overall satisfaction score averaged 16.8 out of 32, with significant associations found between satisfaction and both the side of amputation and prosthesis usage. The study highlights the importance of addressing factors such as comfort, weight, and fit, and considering users’ expectations to improve satisfaction with silicone prostheses.
