​Currently, a Professor of ​​​Environmental and Atmospheric Sciences at Department of Physics, , Faculty of Science, University of Jordan​ and a Professor of Urban Air Quality at the University of Helsinki (Institute for Atmospheric and Earth System Research / INAR). Received Ph.D. in 2005 (University of Helsinki). Was a Post doctor at the Stockholm University and the University of Helsinki and made many research visits. Received four prestigious awards. Research interests and activities are Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences; Air Pollution; Urban and Indoor Air Quality; Dynamics and Physical Characterization of Aerosol Particles; Emissions and Fate of Atmospheric Aerosols, Dry Deposition; Exposure; Modeling, Analytical, and Numerical Methods. Participated in many international research projects and lead many at the national level. Have, so far, more than 160 peer-reviewed publications and h-index: Scopus 37 and scholar google 44.​
