Dr. Hala Zaidan is assistant professor of accounting in the school of business- the University of Jordan. Dr. Zaidan has a PhD from university of Leeds and had participated in several conferences such as EAA, BAFA, ICGER and IBDE. Her main research areas are financial analysts’ forecasts, institutional investors trading, financial statements analyses and auditing. Hala has published in reputable peer-reviewed journals (e.g. Journal of Financial Reporting and Accounting, Discover sustainability,Competitiveness Review, Australasian Accounting, Business and Finance Journal, Cogent business and management, and VINE Journal of Information and Knowledge Management Systems).

Dr. Zaidan had served as head of the accounting department for 2 years (2020-2022) in the University of Jordan and currently works as assistant dean for international accreditation and rankings. Dr. Zaidan also provides regular training in CMA and JCPA for accounting professionals.​
