Dr. Mohammad Nour Abu Guba is a linguistics lecturer at Sharjah University, specializing in phonology. He earned his Ph.D. in Linguistics from Salford/Leeds University in 2016 and holds an MA in English Linguistics from the University of Jordan. With a teaching career spanning over two decades, Dr. Abu Guba has taught a wide range of courses, including Phonetics, Linguistics, and English for Specific Purposes (ESP). His research interests focus on phonology, particularly the adaptation of English loanwords in Arabic, and he has presented his work at international conferences in the UK, Spain, and Japan.
