Dr. Bassil Mohammad Mashaqba is a Full Professor of Linguistics at the Hashemite University, where he has held various academic and administrative positions since 2015. He earned his Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of Salford in 2015, and his research focuses on theoretical phonological and morphological approaches to language varieties, with a recent interest in the acoustic analysis of child speech and dialectology. Dr. Mashaqba has published extensively on these topics and serves on editorial boards for several linguistic journals. He is also actively involved in supervising Ph.D. and MA students in areas such as phonetics, phonology, and morphology.
