​An Associate Professor in the Department of English Language and Literature within the Faculty of Languages at the University of Jordan/Aqaba. My academic journey has been marked by a dedication to Translation and Interpretation Studies, where I explore both theoretical and practical aspects. My research interests encompass a broad spectrum of topics within Translation and Interpretation Studies, focusing particularly on empirical and interdisciplinary approaches. My scholarly pursuits extend to the study of cross-cultural communication, exploring new insights into how languages, people, and ideas interact through translation and interpretation. I am also passionate about creativity in interpretation, translation, co-translation, and the dynamic interaction between art, translation, and text-making.​
