About:

Eng. Sinan Kamal is currently the Chief Technology Officer at the Ministry of Digital Economy & Entrepreneurship.

He previously served as Director of Data & AI at Orange, bringing over 20 years of experience in the ICT sector. Sinan began his career in 2002 as a software developer for hospital management systems before contributing to the modernization of information systems for the Libyan government.

In 2005, he rejoined Orange Jordan as a Database Administrator and quickly rose through the ranks, eventually managing the Billing System. Throughout his career at Orange, he introduced a Business Analytics department, spearheaded the IT Transformation program, and established the Directorate of Data & AI.

Sinan has successfully led several landmark projects, including upgrading the billing system, introducing Single Sign-On (SSO), and enabling IT systems for the launch of 3G and 4G services. He also played a key role in launching Orange Jordan’s first mobile app (My Orange) and building a modern data infrastructure leveraging Big Data technologies.
