Creative Mathematicians Between Creative Education and Available Opportunities

​On January 31, 2026, the Egyptian Society for Mathematics Education hosted an online seminar titled "Creative Mathematicians: Between Creative Education and Available Opportunities", presented by Prof. Ibrahim El-Shara. The seminar explored the intersection between fostering creativity in mathematics education and the practical opportunities available for students and educators to apply innovative mathematical thinking. Prof. El-Shara highlighted strategies for nurturing creative problem-solving skills, discussed the challenges in aligning educational practices with real-world applications, and emphasized the role of supportive learning environments in developing mathematically creative individuals. The session also engaged participants in discussions on leveraging available resources and institutional frameworks to maximize the impact of creative mathematics education.
