About:
Dr. Sahar Yacoub Abu- Helu holds a PhD in English Language Curriculum and Instruction from Amman Arab University, a Master’s degree in English Language Curriculum and Instruction from Yarmouk University, and a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Jordan. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the University of Jordan. Dr. Abu Helu is currently the Assistant Dean for International Accreditation and Global Rankings, she has also served as the Assistant Dean for the Postgraduate Diploma in Teacher Preparation program at the University of Jordan. Abu-Helu advocates for the importance of developing teacher preparation programs to equip educators to face modern educational challenges effectively and positively. She has extensive experience in English language curriculum and instruction, as well as in teacher preparation and training programs. Her research interests include Technology-Enhanced Language Learning (TELL), Project-Based Learning (PBL), Preparing Effective English Language Teachers, and Children's Literature Enhancing Linguistic Creativity.
