Bio: Dr. Mohammed Alrbai received his B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hashemite University, where he graduated as the top-ranked student in his class. He earned his M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Jordan University of Science and Technology, Jordan, and his Ph.D. degree in Combustion and Thermal Science from West Virginia University, USA. Dr. Alrbai is currently a Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Jordan.
He is particularly focused on the integration of renewable energy in wastewater treatment and desalination systems, solar photovoltaic energy forecasting, and green hydrogen production. His work frequently employs advanced modeling techniques, such as machine learning and optimization algorithms, to enhance energy efficiency and system performance. Dr. Alrbai has made significant contributions to the fields of energy systems and environmental sustainability, as reflected in his recent publications. These works address cutting-edge topics such as techno-economic feasibility of renewable energy applications, the development of novel data-driven frameworks for solar energy prediction, and the use of hybrid renewable energy systems for enhanced energy production and storage. His collaborative research has also explored innovations in wind turbine performance and the integration of green hydrogen in various energy systems, aligning with global efforts to transition toward a sustainable energy future.
