​Dr. Sameer Al-Dahidi will be participating in "The 11th IEEE/ACM International Conference on Big Data Computing, Applications and Technologies (BDCAT 2024)," which will take place from December 16 to 19, 2024, at the University of Sharjah, UAE. He will be presenting the paper titled "Enhancing Solar Energy Production Prediction Using Weighted k-Nearest Neighbors and Correlation-Based Distance Metrics" during the BDCAT Main Track 2: Machine Learning and Data Mining. The paper, co-authored by Sameer Al-Dahidi, Bilal Rinchi, Mohammad Alrbai, and Osama Ayadi, introduces a novel approach to improving the prediction accuracy of solar energy production.​
