My research interests span oncology nursing, symptom assessment and management, emergency and critical care, social support, spiritual well-being, and the use of artificial intelligence in healthcare. Within the emergency and critical care domain, my work has focused on evaluating the proficiency of nurses in ECG interpretation and arrhythmia monitoring, as well as assessing their knowledge of pulse oximetry—both of which are critical competencies for delivering safe and effective care to critically ill patients. I am currently involved in a national project aimed at training emergency and critical care nurses in the interpretation of computer-generated surface electrocardiograms (ECGs). In addition, I actively supervise PhD and Master's students on various research projects related to the care of critically ill patients.
