Dr. Bani Hani is Professor of Cardiac Surgery and Intensive Care at The University of Jordan and Jordan University Hospital. He earned his medical degree (M.B., B.S.) from the University of Jordan in 1996. He then completed his residency in General Surgery at Jordan University of Science and Technology between in 2003. Driven by his passion for heart surgery, he pursued advanced training in Germany at Heart Center Leipzig/ University of Leipzig from 2006 to 2012, completing training in Cardiothoracic Surgery in 2010. He Further specialized in Intensive Care Medicine in 2012.

Dr. Bani Hani has built his professional career in the field of cardiothoracic surgery and intensive care medicine, with a particular focus Intensive care medicine. He has served in several surgical and academic positions and currently Leads the Intensive Care Unit at Jordan University Hospital, he is one of the cofounders of the Intensive care fellowship program at JUH and currently he is its program director.​
