I am an associate professor at the department of English Language and Literature, the University of Jordan with a Ph.D. in American Studies from Washington State University, USA. I teach various courses including literature, politics, culture and communication.
I have special interest in cultural communication and authentic forms of resistance and often involved in actions shedding light on the urge to invest in young generation. My research interests include counter aesthetic representations, cultural identity, diasporic bodies, unlocking cultural voice, etc.
I believe in interdisciplinary approaches as alternative methods for exploring new academic, political as well as cultural horizons. By employing cultural ways and arts, we can open doors towards cultural respect, collaboration and eventually co-existence and resistance.
