Dr. Abd Alkareem Aloweidi is a Professor in the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care at the University of Jordan’s School of Medicine. With extensive expertise in anesthesia and intensive care medicine, he completed his Facharzt in Anesthesia and Intensive Care in Germany and a fellowship in intensive care and pain management at the University Hospital Giessen. Since 2001, he has been serving as a consultant anesthetist and a faculty member at the University of Jordan, contributing to clinical practice, education, and research.

His research focuses on improving preparedness for healthcare crises, attitudes towards artificial intelligence in anesthesia, and advancements in pain management and intensive care. Dr. Aloweidi is actively engaged in mentoring, publishing, and attending conferences, making significant contributions to medical education and practice in Jordan.​
