​Dr. Wafa’ H. AlAlaween is an Associate Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at The University of Jordan. She received her Ph.D. in Automatic Control and Systems Engineering from The University of Sheffield, UK, in 2018. Since then, Dr. AlAlaween has been teaching courses related to systems engineering, artificial intelligence, and optimization. Her research interests include computational intelligence, data mining, biologically inspired computing, and fuzzy systems. She has authored over 35 articles in reputable journals and conferences. Dr. AlAlaween is also a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Medicines Development Sciences and an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA).​
