Copper has an excellent antimicrobial activity, but its biomedical application is limited. One of the reasons for this is discoloration of pure copper. Copper alloys have higher resistance in discoloration, but lower in their antimicrobial activity. Therefore, we developed a new method to enhance the antibacterial activity of copper and its alloys with oligopeptides application. In this study, the optimization of oligopeptide application condition is carried out for the enhancement of the antiviral activity. Presented by Akiko Yamamoto.
