Dr. Moayad Alrwajfah is a tourism development specialist and researcher with a Ph.D. in Tourism Management from the University of Malaga, Spain. His expertise lies at the intersection of sustainable tourism development, community perspectives, and cultural heritage management, with a strong emphasis on both empirical research and practical application. Moayad's efforts focus mainly on MENA countries, developing countries, heritage sites and their surrounding communities, women in the tourism sector, and rural communities. Dr. Alrwajfah has extensive professional experience, including key roles at the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority, and currently serves as Head of the Tourism Development Department within the Directorate of Planning and Studies at Jordan's Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities. His research focuses on resident satisfaction, gender perspectives in tourism employment, and sustainable tourism planning. Skilled in data analysis software such as Smart-PLS, and ArcGIS, he has managed numerous large-scale research projects, including national studies and international collaborations.
