​Dr. Khalil Ibrahim Al-Halalat is an Associate Professor of Social Work and Sociology, currently teaching at Al Dhid University (UAE) while maintaining an academic affiliation with The University of Jordan. With a PhD in Social Work (Fayoum University, 2011) and over 30 years of combined experience in social development practice and academia, he has held leadership roles including Department Chair and Assistant Dean at The University of Jordan. A prolific researcher, he has published 22 peer-reviewed studies on topics ranging from juvenile rehabilitation to social work education, with work appearing in journals like the International Journal of Cyber Criminology and Social Science Research. Dr. Al-Halalat has supervised 24 graduate theses, examined 45 dissertations, and contributed to regional social policy development, including curriculum design for Oman’s Dhofar University. His current research explores intellectual security among youth and gender-based violence prevention.​
