​Dr. Jiawei Yang is a postdoctoral fellow specializing in dental biomaterials. She earned her PhD in Biomaterials Science and Dental Technology from the University of Manchester in 2021. Previously, she worked at Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital, focusing on innovative dental materials for biomedical applications. Currently she is Post-doc at the Applied Oral Sciences and Community Dental Care, Faculty of Dentistry, The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China.​

Her research emphasizes enhancing the properties of dental materials,​​ particularly resin composites, to improve clinical outcomes and facilitate tissue healing. Dr. Yang has contributed significantly to the field through numerous publications and ongoing research initiatives​
