The University of Jordan Cystic Fibrosis Research Group (UJ-CF Research Group), in collaboration with the Middle East Cystic Fibrosis Association (MECFA), had the honor of meeting with Professor Yaser Al-Rayyan, Dean of Scientific Research at the University of Jordan.

The meeting focused on discussing current and future research avenues and strategic opportunities in cystic fibrosis, with an emphasis on strengthening institutional support for CF-related research, expanding multidisciplinary collaboration, and aligning ongoing initiatives with the University of Jordan's research priorities. The discussion also addressed mechanisms to facilitate high-impact research, support translational studies, and enhance national and international research partnerships.

The meeting was attended by members of the UJ-CF Research Group and the MECFA team, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing cystic fibrosis research, capacity building, and evidence-based care for children living with CF in Jordan.

This engagement represents an important step toward fostering a supportive research environment that enables innovation, collaboration, and sustainable growth in cystic fibrosis research, ultimately contributing to improved healthcare outcomes and quality of life for CF patients and their families.
